Dr. Kayode Abegunde

Founder & Principal Consultant:

Dr. Kayode has amassed over 20 years of extensive experience spanning Consulting, Accounting, Auditing, Taxation, Human Services, Social Work, Healthcare, Quality Assurance, Public Service Leadership, Non-Profit Organizations, and Business Administration. As the Principal Consultant at Entrepreneurial Consulting LLC in Newark, DE, Dr. Kayode has significantly contributed to various sectors'. Kayode was appointed as a Commissioner of Behavioral and Mental Health by the Delaware State Government and as a Financial Advisory Council member for Newcastle County Government, USA. Dr. Kayode ran for Delaware State Insurance Commissioner under the Delaware Democratic Party in 2020 and 2024 respectively. I am a Fellow of the Institute of Information Management, a Reader for the Mandela Washington Fellowship, and a member of the American Society of Notaries and the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners. Dr. Kayode has completed Ph.D. credits at Capella University in Public Service Leadership and is currently pursuing a Doctoral program in Prevention Science at Wilmington University, which is deferred for a future date. Dr. Kayode holds two MBAs in Finance and Health Care Administration from Wilmington University and an Honorary Doctor of Philosophy in Data Management.

Mr. Akinyemi Famakinwa MBA- CICA - Finance & Audit Consultant

Akinyemi is a CICA certified IT auditor with over 2 decades of professional experience in Banking,
Finance, Audit, IT, Risk & Compliance, Investment strategies and Entrepreneurship.
Akinyemi was a former Vice President at Bank of America, a former Vice president at Barclays Bank,
former Senior Consultant for Bank of New York Mellon, former Vice president at Wells Fargo Bank, and
former Vice President at JP Morgan Chase Bank.
Akinyemi graduated from Wesley College School of Business with a Master of Business Administration –
MBA, Concentration in Management and Executive Leadership, and currently a Doctoral Scholar at
North Central University. Akin comes with 2 decades of Banking, Finance, Audit, Risk, Investment
strategies (stocks and cryptocurrency trading/investing) and IT Audit experience derived from years of
cross-industry experience and technology expertise gained by working with Europe, North America and
African clients. I had opportunity of handling, managing, developing and delivering business solutions
and strategies on multi-million-dollar enterprise portfolio in banking and applying a Risk based/SDLC
methodology in the delivery. Past companies include, Bank of America, Barclays Card, Bank of New York
Mellon, and Wells Fargo Bank N.A.
Akinyemi was part of executive and senior management teams that led and supported audit teams and
projects, performed risk assessments, and ensured compliance with standards and regulations.
With over 20 years of experience as an entrepreneur, founder, and CEO, I have a passion for creating
and consulting for financial innovation. I have launched and managed multiple ventures in management
consulting, investment advisory, cryptocurrency and trading strategies, financial education, and security
management. Akin founded 4 businesses, namely – The Great shield Corporation, SimplyMididlle LLC,
GiDi Capital Group and Ekabosile.com .
In 2020, Akin founded GiDiVerse, under GiDi Capital Group Inc. the first Nigerian African crypto
blockchain hub for developers to network and develop new initiatives, such as NFTs, DLT, ILP, WEB 3,
layer 2 solutions, decentralized technologies, and cross-border remittance solutions. My mission is to
empower and educate people on the potential and opportunities of the emerging digital economy.
Akinyemi has Certification of CICA (Certified Internal Controls Auditor) and a member of IIC- Institute of
Internal Controls, also a member of ISACA (Information Systems Audit and Control Association).
Akinyemi is a public speaker, a mentor, board member on various non for profit organizations, an author
and a community leader & instructor. I have delivered educational speeches on finance, investments
strategies, IT, Blockchain & Crypto technology and more, finally Akin has written articles on multiple
topics in the areas of FinTech, Blockchain, Cryptocurrencies, and Finance for the Tribune Newspaper and
Tribune Online.
